The Humanscale Liberty Chair utilizes a die-cast aluminum frame finished with either a fused plastic coating or polished aluminum. Black and Silver finishes are available standard. Polished aluminum may be selected as an add-on. All chair finishes are available in either black or silver trim.

The Liberty Chair’s molded foam seat cushions are sculpted to natural body contours, broadening the users seated contact area for a better distribution of the users seated pressure. The optional Gel seat employs Humanscale’s non-degradable, non-compressible Technogel to maximize weight distribution.
Both seat options have a seat depth travel range of 16.25”–18.75” (measured from face of lumbar to front of seat)
Ergonomic Chair Pro’s in-house Ergonomist recommends
Humanscale’s foam seat for up-and-down use, and the optional Gel seat for extended use seating applications.

Humanscale tapped Elizabeth Whelan, the I.D. 2005 Annual Design Review Winner, for the design of their form-sensing mesh textiles. Both mesh lines were specifically designed to minimize wear on the users clothing and surpass all performance criteria for contract seating textiles. They also adhere to a number of U.S. and European environmental standards. The mesh back uses a tri-panel configuration that self adjusts to your body's contours, there is no need for manual lumbar adjustment.
Monofilament Stripe
A beautiful, translucent quality is created by the contrasting horizontal colors without compromising strength or durability

Silver Check
The striking Silver Check mesh weaves monofilament strands and silver-coated yarns to illuminate the Liberty chair seat back. Silver Check is a highly resilient fabric with minimal clothing abrasive qualities.

Humanscale has chosen their most popular Wave and Vellum fabrics for Liberty Chair quick ship configurations.
Wave
A 3-Dimensional glossy fabric with a horizontal wave pattern stretching across the surface. Available in a number of vibrant colors inspired by nature. Humanscale’s Wave fabric exceeds all interior heavy duty testing requirements.

Vellum
This Cordura, nylon, and elastic blend offers a beautifully subdued range of colors. Humanscale’s Vellum fabric utilizes a plain weave and a more matted finish than the Wave fabric.
